The 10th anniversary edition of Warsaw Gallery Weekend coming soon
WGW is the biggest annual contemporary art event in Poland. 29 galleries from Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań, Gliwice and Katowice will present their exhibitions between 1st and 4th October.
WGW returns with a weekend full of exhibitions from galleries specializing in modern and contemporary art. This year’s edition has been extended to four days, to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests due to the scale of this year’s programme in the context of pandemic.
Once again, we will present a prize to an outstanding artist or art collective. An international jury will select a piece to become part of the Foundation’s collection The Jury will also award a special prize. The Jury members:
Helena Czernecka - contemporary art collector,
Post Brothers – curator,
Hanna Wróblewska – director of the Zachęta – National Gallery of Art,
Kamila Bondar and Marcin Kryszeń – the ING Polish Art Foundation board members.
