Karolina Wojtas – artist in (office) residence

The artist will explore our office between Nov 22 – Dec 03.

In the last week of November, our office will host a mini-residence in the form of an internship with the participation of artist Karolina Wojtas. During the residency, Karolina will get to know the rhythm of office life, learn about the rituals and habits of employees of the ING Headquarters in Warsaw, and then carry out a photo project related to this experience.

Karolina Wojtas (b. 1996) is a photographer. Graduate of the Film School in Łódź and the Institute of Creative Photography in Czech Opava. She lives in a colorful world of experiment and everlasting fun. She can get inspired by a mess in grandfather's garden or a huge slide. Her exhibitions are sometimes covered with glitter or balloons and make you feel like a child – you can play, throw, and scribble. Karolina is a laureate of the ING Unseen Talent Award 2019. In the summer of 2019 she has opened her own museum in her native village in Podkarpacie.

The first edition of the Office Residency took place in 2017, with participation of Joanna Piotrowska. As a result of this experience, she created the Clock, which is now a part of our collection.
