Wojciech Zasadni
Wróżka (Fortune Teller)
FSP ING 0045
Wojciech Zasadni’s relief series depicts proposals for covers of weekly and monthly magazines published in Poland: Businessman, Sukces, Wróżka, Wysokie Obcasy. In his works, Zasadni is ironic, if not outright malicious, in exploring the theme of female and male images in contemporary media, citing the pop culture icon Barbie on her way to heaven, or a celebrity resembling a star of Polish cinematography holidaying in a Polish coastal resort, known among other things for its local version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
