The Lie of the Land
FSP ING 0103
Mikołaj Moskal made this sketch for his spatial intervention at the exhibition Blue Almost White: Playing with the Collection of the ING Polish Art Foundation at the LETO Gallery in Warsaw. Moskal placed white forms sprouting from the ceiling and floor, in a suggestion of icicle stalactites and stalagmites, in the central exhibition space. The freezing water symbolism alludes to the title of the show, the word “almost” hinting at a helplessness accompanying any attempt to name one of the fundamental components of art: colour.
