The show has been staged to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the ING Polish Art Foundation in collaboration with the team of the Zachęta — National Gallery of Art.

The exhibition „Art of Our Age” is a subjective narrative about art that the authors — Rafał Dominik (artist) and Szymon Żydek (curator) — have illustrated with a selection of 24 works from the collections of the ING Polish Art Foundation and the Zachęta — National Gallery of Art. The show presents art as an inherent element of everyday life. Starting with stereotypes concerning the figure of the artist, the authors explain the complexities of art’s reception. Viewers are invited to adopt various vantage points and perspectives — starting with general reflections on the status of art, through a focus on the meaning of the different works, ending with general observations about art as a source of inspiration for everyday activities. The exhibition has adopted the form of an installation, becoming a space for testing various ways of presenting and discussing art. It takes place in three exhibition rooms, each of them constituting a separate chapter of the story.
