Common Project - a contest for young artists
Common Project is a yearly contest organised by the Museum of Art in Łódź and the ING Polish Art Foundation. It’s main goal is to support artists under the age of 30.
Common Project emphasises not only the end-result (an exhibition, publication, etc.), but most importantly the sole execution of the project in close cooperation with both institutes. The theme of the first year edition is the “Urban prototype” - understood as an idea, project or tool referring to relations occurring within urban space - perhaps even generating unobvious solutions. The work can be designed in any form, from installation, performance activities, research, audio and film. The winner will be able to finalize his project in Łódź, with the full support of the staff, tools and the infrastructure of the Museum of Art in Łódź and the ING Polish Art Foundation.
The contest is open to individuals and groups working as one team. Entries, entitled „Wspólny projekt” should be sent to: email@example.com by January 18th, 2013.
The participants of the contest will receive a ftp address where they can send their applications. The results and the winner of the contest will be announced on February 7th
Details and the contest regulations are available at: www.ingart.pl and www.msl.org.pl
